This is true gem of Northern Portuguese food. The cod is superb, and whether you have it grilled, fried (vienesse) or broled it is full of flavour, moist, tender, flaky and melts in your mouth. The fresh fish (grouper or sea bass) is also grilled to perfection, as is all the other seafood. The appetizers and soups are also authentic and prepared with a great deal of care. The desserts are fabulous and if you don't want something to sweet, try the baked pear or apples soaked in port wine!

Service is top class, attentive but not overbearing and the chef and sous chef are fabulous.
